The Siargao Cloud 9 Surfing Cup is held yearly for the world surfers. “on Cloud 9” means feeling elated or being on top of the world. Cloud 9 originated in the Philippines' most famous surfing spot, Siargao. They named it Cloud 9 because of the big waves.

For this motion piece, I want to create a funky, colorful theme that promotes the exciting event and captures the beautiful nature of Siargao. The locals of Siargao view the surfing cup as an important event because it brings people together.
